Minecraft: Adventure Expanded

Minecraft: Adventure Expanded is a mod for Minecraft Java Edition currently under development.

It aims to address and increasingly evident problem in vanilla Minecraft, which is the lack of reward or player feedback for exploring the world around them. Over the years Mojang have added several new structures and biomes, which often fail to provide a worthwhile reward or motivate the player to seek them out.

This mod aims to tackle this problem, by adding a variety of new diverse and interesting structures which offer unique combat encounters as well as unique loot tables. 

In addition, a new resource called Platinum can only be obtained directly from a select few of these structures. Platinum is a resource which offers a new tier of tools armour and weapons. Players can choose whether to craft tools with proficiency in speed, or reinforce their tools for massively increased durability.

Platinum is among a variety of rare resources which can be looted in some of the new structures added to the game. 

Adventure Expanded is a vanilla+ mod which aims to stay consistent and fit coherently into a vanilla survival playthrough of Minecraft.
